Reality Reflection Announces Pre-ICO of New Location-based AR Mobile Game
Reality Reflection, a VC-backed virtual reality(VR) and augmented reality(AR) startup announced on Monday the launch of Pre-ICO on ‘Mossland’, a location-based AR mobile game with decentralized ad platform.
Mossland is involved with virtual real estate. Users can identify nearby real properties, acquire and trade them in the game. Virtual properties in the game can be tradable and liquified through cryptocurrency exchange, so users will put time and effort to increase the value of their properties.
To fund the development of the game, Reality Reflection is embarking on an ICO using Ethereum blockchain technologies. The date of the pre sale for the ICO will be on January 29 with up to 50% bonus.
Mossland adds in-depth gamification on top of the traditional check-in games such as Foursquare. By installing AR objects on properties, it will enhance the users’ gaming experience and motivate users to decorate and boast their properties in addition to basic gameplay of purchasing, protecting and taking over them.
Mossland’s key features include:
- Augmented Reality: Virtual property value is proportionate to the number of check-ins in the properties and the owners will install ‘Accessory’, AR objects in attachment to the virtual properties. Users can attract buyers with this item.
- Tradable Property, Accessory: Properties and Accessories of the Mossland can be traded between users through in-game auction system. Such transactions between the users can be done by using ‘Moss’, which is an in-game currency matched with ‘Moss Coin’, an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency secured by blockchain technology.
- Location-based P2P Advertisement: Mossland creates a new advertising platform based on the convergence of real location-based games with AR technology. All Mossland users can create and run advertisement campaign through a simple interface after setting an ad budget.
