Oculus announces the Oculus Start program to help aspiring developers during their VR creation journey.
Oculus announced its new developer-focused program today to help grow the ecosystem. Oculus Start is a program created for VR application developers who are just getting started. It provides qualifying developers with access, support and savings so you can focus on what's really important - creating inspired VR applications. Oculus did a survey of its developers and found that 50 percent are self-funded so this program will go a long way to help the VR ecosystem.
Some of the highlights of the program include access early tech and networking opportunities ike Oculus Connect.
Oculus also offers dedicated technical support to troubleshoot and elevate your VR creations
In addition to access to developer kits for new and existing hardware participants will receive one year free Unity Plus license or a royalty-free Unreal license.
